Stoneware Unglazed

This series of brick tiles, which make the most of the characteristics of the wet process, has a unique slanting shape like a slide. You can enjoy the method of daring to create gaps to create a bumpy three-dimensional effect, or the method of stretching by matching unevenness. By firing in a reduction kiln, each piece, although unglazed, shows natural unevenness in firing and subtle shades of color, expressing a different three-sided finish. The roughness of the surface, as if scratches were drawn on the surface, which accentuates the taste of the clay, gives it a unique and tasteful texture. When illuminated by lighting or natural light, the three-dimensional shadows are dramatically projected.
